It’s bothering me that they’re not telling me what time zone you should participate in. Yeah logically you’d do your own since I’m guessing there’s more “consumption” at noon… One might also consider the possibility leaving AC on would use less power than turning it off for an hour and using more energy to cool it back to the temp it was at. Kinda like the damn emails that say ‘let’s stick it to the oil tycoons and refuse to buy gas on a single day! that’ll show’m, a loss of profit on said day! just ignore the fact they’ll have a gain in profit on the day before and after….’
