I just filed my federal taxes. I didn’t forget about the telephone tax refund, did you? This is at least $30 back in your pocket.
“The telephone tax refund is a one-time payment available on your 2006 federal income tax return, designed to refund previously collected federal excise taxes on long-distance or bundled service. It is available to anyone who paid such taxes on landline, wireless, or Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service.”
Indeed. Got me some $40, hurray!
Hi Candice,
Thanks for this tip! I found your blog via some of your other postings on 43folders.com but never expected it to save me money :-)
Enjoy your day,
David
