There are tumbleweeds rolling through the cubicle farm I work in.

Google Reader is empty.

I don’t have any e-mail to catch up on.

Nobody is online.

All work and no play makes Candice a crabby girl.

No work and no play makes Candice stab her eyes out.

I’ve resorted to menial data entry I’ve been putting off for Cyanotic. I’ve entered all of their tour dates back until 2003. I tweaked some CSS on their MySpace page.

I wonder if anybody would have noticed if I hadn’t come in today.

I wonder if anybody would notice if I left.

I wonder if maybe I should just go take a 6-hour nap in the “Wellness Room”.

I’d go shopping if I had any money left after those Boxing Day sales back in Calgary.

I’d go chill out in Millennium Park or some such if it wasn’t all cold and shit.

I should have brought a bunch of the DVDs I bought in to the office. I could have been halfway through season four of The X-Files by the end of the day.

Seriously. I already spent half of a day a little while back creating a folder full of text files, each one counting from 1 to 100 in one of the number systems from binary to hexadecimal.

If I don’t figure out something to do for the next 6.5 hours, my head is going to implode.

I don’t want to go to the store.

And I know you don’t want to hear about it. But you might as well be bored right along with me, and I have nothing more interesting to do or write.
